I’m seriously addicted to the heavenly scent of these candles! Made with nontoxic soy wax and lead free wicks, they are a chic embellishment to your home decor and fills your nest with a fragrance infused with essential oils of mandarin, vetiver, vanilla, and cedarwood.
And at $10 each, the characterful and personal votives are perfect for simple, dainty (and affordable) gifts.

The always fashionable Nicole Richie attended the Band of Outsiders event at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles. The starlet and mommy of two wore her own design, a black fringed Winter Kate ‘Starlight’ robe jacket and paired it with
a blush Winter Kate ‘Black Magic’ silk blouse and black leather pants and chic black fedora. I love how she takes simple, easy pieces and turns them into fashion icon looks.

No friendship is perfect but sometimes you have to wonder why or how you’ve allowed certain friends to enter your life. Do you have that girlfriend that always has something negative to say? Is she not supportive of you? Becoming an enemy more than a friend? If so, you may need to reevaluate the relationship. Madame Noire
dishes on ways to avoid a toxic and unhealthy friendship.
Don’t Rationalize Bad Behavior
When we’re dealing with someone new, we’re constantly on the lookout for “hmmm” moments. By this I mean moments when our new friend or associate makes some type of backwards comment, perhaps in passing, that gives you pause. Just like in a romantic relationship, don’t ignore the red flags or even worse don’t play the dangerous game of making excuses for their shadiness. Your “hmmm” radar is rarely wrong. Ignoring those “hmmm” moments now will lead to frustration in the future.
Redirect the Conversation
We’re all prone to our moments of negativity and pessimism but no one wants to be surrounded by a Debbie Downer all the time. If you hang around these types for too long you’ll either waste precious time and energy attempting to make them happy-all to no avail- or you find yourself rowing right along with them in their sulking ship. Most people who focus on the negative don’t know this about themselves. If you recognize that deep down yourfriend
is a good person then you might be inclined in trying to sway their outlook by speaking positively around them, reminding them to look at the bright side.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
